What is Quantum, you ask? Well, Duracell now has three families of products, with three very different market segments. Quantum is the “newest” line, and the other products and their users include:

  • Duracell Copper Top- The brand we all know and trust, this product family is targeted towards end-users, for everyday home use. Sold in retail stores nationwide, these batteries come in a variety of sizes, all packaged in blister packs for easy merchandising.
  • Duracell Quantum- Formerly known as Duracell Ultra, this line has been rebranded as Quantum to differentiate it from the standard Duracell offering. Duracell Quantum is the longest lasting alkaline battery on the market, and is currently on allocation due to the high demand. Perfect for professional applications, these batteries are recommended for frequently used, high drain devices such as those in Healthcare or Hospitality settings where sudden losses of power hurt the worst.
  • Duracell Procell– Procell batteries are specially packaged and designed for industrial/commercial use. While blister packs are fine for home use, this is not very practical for an office or professional setting where batteries are bought in bulk, and stored until they’re needed. Procell batteries are packaged with this user in mind, and come in a reclosable box that can be easily stored for use as needed. Intended for everyday, high-use devices, Procell batteries offer constant, reliable power that’s there when you need it.
